A first-rate shishum tabla from one of Calcutta's premiere makers combined with a 3 kilo (chrome coated) copper baya. We get these sets from Mridangam, Shyamal, and Mukta Das. None of these drums are mass produced, so our stock may vary. We will send you the best of what is in stock. The engraved bayas are from Mridangam, and are not always in stock. In comparison to the #2 Calcutta sets, the #1 sets are made from more premium wood, have finer worksmanship on the heads and thicker straps.
